HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) or Polyethylene High Density (PEHD) is a polyethene thermoplastic made from petroleum with a high strength-to-density ratio and corrosive resistant properties.

Plasco manufactures HDPE Pipes in straight lengths and coils to ISO 4427 and ISO 4437 Standards

Plasco is capable of producing HDPE Pipes of up to 630mm in diameter together with a full range of customized fabricated fittings in accordance with the needs of the client.

Plasco HDPE Pressure pipes meet the ISO 4427 standard. The manufacturing process uses only high-quality PE100 and PE80 virgin materials. The pipes have a variety of applications with include Water, Chemicals, Slurry distribution and management.

Benefits of HDPE Pipes

  • Cost effective solution for a broad range of piping problems in municipal, industrial, marine, mining, ducts and agricultural applications
  • PE is strong, extremely tough and very durable
  • Highest corrosion resistance, even to harsh acids Corrosion resistant to water applications
  • Suitable for uneven terrain
  • Lower maintenance costs
  • High safety
  • Flexible
  • Weathering (UV) resistant
  • No extra corrosion prevention essential Plastics generally much lighter in weight
  • Smooth surface results in higher flow rates, less pump wear, reduced energy costs
  • Excellent abrasion and scale resistance
  • Long lifetime, up to 50 years using PE100 with water
  • Global standards: ISO/DIN, ASTM, BS, JIS……
  • Complete systems
  • Cost-effective system and lower overall cost of ownership
  • High impact strength
  • Chemical resistance
  • Easy and fast jointing of the system; fewer joints
  • Performs at low temperatures

Applications

  • Mining – above and below ground installations
  • Slurry Lines: convey suspended solid matter in quarries and mines
